Original air date: May 3, 2004
The scoop: Amy accompanies Ephram to his audition for Julliard School of Music; Andy operates on Dr. Douglas; Bright debates on whether he's going to attend his graduation ceremony or not.

What's Up With Bright: Preparing for graduation, Bright is depressed hearing all his friends discuss their plans for next year. He doesn't even want to attend graduation, even though his grandparents have traveled in to see him graduate. Meanwhile, Harold cannot find a single insurance company that will take him on after the Linda fiasco and he's beginning to realize that his practice may have to close permanently. In an effort to cheer his dad up, Bright finds that the two of them are in very similar situations. He decides to attend his graduation and proudly accepts his diploma in front of his friends and family.

What's Up With Ephram: Since Andy's performing surgery on Dr. Douglas the same day as Ephram's Julliard audition, Ephram is planning on making the trip to Boulder by himself. Ever since Bright told Ephram that Amy likes him, Ephram's been trying to figure out if it's true. So when Amy shows up just as he's leaving and says she wants to go with him he's more than happy to agree. Before his turn to audition is up Ephram's so nervous he almost bows out. Amy gives him a much-needed pep talk and he nails his audition. Afterward, rather than go right back to Everwood Ephram suggests they hang out in Boulder and get something to eat. After having caricatures of themselves painted they stop and talk in a gazebo. Ephram brings up last year when he liked Amy and she didn't share his feelings. Amy finally comes out and tells Ephram that she likes him as more than just a friend. Ephram says, "wow" and bends in to kiss her.

What's Up With Amy: Amy stops Ephram when he tries to kiss her. She's struck by his calm and asks how come he wasn't at all surprised by her revelation. Ephram stumbles over her question but is forced to admit that Bright clued him in on Amy's feelings. Amy's thoroughly upset and feels that their whole night together was a shady plan on Ephram's part to get her to come out with it. Ephram attempts to convince her otherwise but Amy's convinced he's been playing her all night. Ephram reminds Amy of all last year when she was playing him and yells at her that now he's played her. The next day at graduation Ephram asks Amy if he can talk to her. She assumes he wants to apologize but he says that he wants to thank her, telling Amy that if it weren't for her he wouldn't have nailed his audition and made it into Julliard's summer program. He tells her he'll be leaving for New York next week and Amy ishappy for him.

What's Up With Andy: Dr. Douglas is nervous that Andy's too out of practice to perform the complicated brain surgery on him. Andy assures and reminds Dr. Douglas that he (Andy) was groomed by and educated by Dr. Douglas. He convinces Dr. Douglas to have faith in his work and the outcome of the 14-hour surgery performed by Andy couldn't have been more successful. In the meantime, while Andy is proud and happy for Ephram making it into Julliard's summer program, he's also experiencing mixed feelings about Ephram leaving Everwood to go to New York for 8 weeks.
