The scoop: Linda's HIV status is released to the town causing conflict with her and Andy's relationship; Ephram and Amy spend more time together.

What's Up With Amy: Since Ephram has become good friends with Bright and Amy is on the outs with all of her friends, the 3 of them find themselves spending more time together as a trio. After one particular day of watching TV and talking with Ephram, Amy hints to Bright that maybe she and Ephram now have the opportunity to get "closer." Bright discourages her from going in that direction to protect Ephram from more heartbreak. But once Amy's feelings are out it's hard for her to shake them. After the revelation of Linda's health is out she and Ephram find that once again they share the same feelings about something and can be there for each other.

What's Up With Ephram: After Andy explains Linda's situation to Ephram and Delia, Ephram has many questions for him. Mainly he wants to know if Andy's been intimate with Linda, if he's used protection and if he's been tested. When he and Amy talk about the situation the next day he confides his feelings to her. Meanwhile, Delia's furious with Brittany for telling her secret and roughs her up on the playground. That night at dinner Andy grounds Delia for her behavior and that's when Ephram steps in. He sends Delia to her room and confronts Andy asking him why he's basically risking his life to be with Linda. He asks Andy if he's thought about what would happen if he and Linda work out, they all become a family and then Linda gets sick and dies. He asks him what if he contracts the disease from her, emphasizing the fact that no matter how small a chance there is of that happening, any chance is too much. Ephram asks Andy what he and Delia would do if something were to happen to Andy when he's all they've got. The next day, after calming down, Ephram tells Andy that he understands Andy really loves Linda and he doesn't want to take that away from him. Only it's already too late.

What's Up With Linda: When Delia asks Linda why she takes so many pills Linda decides to tell her the truth about her being HIV positive. She tells Delia that it's a secret, but at school Delia, being a fairly innocent 9-year-old, confides in Brittany. Brittany in turn tells her parents who furiously confront Linda at her and Harold's medical practice. Knowing that the whole town is sure to find out, Linda comes out with her secret to Amy and Bright while Andy talks with Ephram and Delia. The next day, all of Harold's patients have cancelled and the town is going to try to shut down their practice unless Linda leaves. Although Harold disagrees, Linda decides to leave the practice. Harold believes that now all of his would-be legal problems are no more. However, his medical malpractice insurance company won't carry him anymore and he's facing months of not being able to practiceperhaps even permanently.

What's Up With Andy: When Linda tells Andy that she told Delia about her sickness Andy is upset because he's unprepared to deal with it and he's concerned that word will get out. Since he has such strong feelings for Linda he assures her that they'll get through this together. After his confrontation with Ephram, Andy realizes that he's not the only one involved and he tells Linda that he cannot continue to see her anymore.
